공연예술문화학과

김인설 교수는 현재 가톨릭대학교 공연예술문화학과 학과장으로 예술경영 전공 교수이다. 미국 University of Akron에서 예술행정학으로 석사를, The Ohio State University에서 문화정책/예술경영학으로 박사학위를 받았다. 이후 한국문화관광연구원 부연구위원, 전남대학교 문화전문대학원 부교수를 역임 후, 학과가 설립 된 2021년부터 가톨릭대학교 전임교수로 재직해 왔다. 주로 문화예술질적연구방법론, 문화정책개론, 문화예술경영학, 예술치유세미나, 문화트렌드와 예술기획, 문화예술교육세미나 등을 가르치고 있으며, 예술을 통해 사회 문제를 새롭게 해석하고 이를 통해 사회가 긍정적인 방향으로 발전할 수 있는 주제들을 연구한다. 문화정책 및 예술경영 관련 주요 학회 이사 및 학술지 편집위원으로 활동하고 있으며, 다양한 문화예술공공기관 및 정부의 연구과제들을 수행해 왔다. 문화정책과 거버넌스, 예술경영, 예술교육, 예술치유, 문화복지 등 예술을 통해 창출할 수 있는 사회자본 및 예술의 사회적 역할과 가치가 주요 관심사이다. 

Prof. InSul Kim currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Performing Arts & Culture and as a professor specializing in Arts Management at The Catholic University of Korea. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Korea, followed by a Master's in Arts Administration from the University of Akron and a Ph.D. in Cultural Policy & Arts Administration from The Ohio State University, USA. After serving as an associate research fellow at the Korea Culture & Tourism Institute and as an associate professor at Chonnam National University, Prof. Kim joined the Catholic University of Korea since the department's inception in 2021. Currently, she is on the editorial board of several major domestic academic journals in cultural policy & arts management and has carried out various government projects as a principal investigator. Her research interests focus on critical cultural policy studies, with an emphasis on cultural democracy and its role in creating social bonds and intimacy in various sets of communities. 
She is also interested in how art can be used as an alternative form to reflect social problems, initiate civic engagement, and produce social capital. 

이진우 교수는 가톨릭대학교 공연예술문화학과 미술디자인 전공 교수이다. 국내에서 학사와 석사를 금속공예, 디자인 전공으로 받았으며, 영국 Brunel University에서 디자인 경영으로 석사를 University of Kent에서 경영학으로 박사학위를 받았다. 사회과학적 접근을 통하여 미술 및 디자인 분야의 생산, 분배, 소비를 이해하여 작가, 매개자, 그리고 소비자와 연관된 행위를 주요 연구 대상으로 보고 있다. 특히, 디지털 플랫폼, 빅데이터, 인공지능, NFT 등의 기술이 추동하는 예술가의 정당화 및 가치화 과정의 변화에 주목하고 있다. 현재까지 다수의 KCI급 논문외에 Journal of Arts Management, Law and Society(2016, 2017, 2023) 와 European Journal of Marketing(2019)등의 SCI급 학술지에 논문을 발표하였다. 문화예술, 미술관, 박물관, 미술시장 등의 분야에 관한 자문/평가 및 다양한 기관의 외부연구에 참여하고 있다.    

Jin Woo Lee is Assistant Professor at the Department of Performing Arts & Culture, The Catholic University of Korea. He received a bachelor's and master's degree in metal craft and design in Korea, a master's degree in design management and a doctorate in magagement in the UK. His research examines the behaviors and discourses of artists, intermediaries and users in the practical fields of visual arts and design. He is mainly interested in the process of legitimating and valuing artists in the context of the structural change in the art world by the emergence of new technologies such as digital platforms, big data, AI, and NFTs. His research has appeared in Journal of Arts Management, Law and Society and European Journal of Marketing.

문화산업 및 문화정책 현장에서 쌓아온 경험과 학문적 지식을 나누는 일이 즐겁고 보람 있다. 특히, 문화예술의 사회적 가치 확산과 지역문화에 관심이 많다. 학부에서 미술교육학, 대학원에서 문화기획과 문화예술경영학을 공부하였다. 추계예술대학교에서 문화예술학 박사학위를 취득하였다. 두산그룹 출판BG에서 출판 기획, 마케팅 및 영업을 두루 담당해 출판문화산업 전반에 대한 현장 경험이 풍부하다. 문화체육관광부의 부처간 협력사업으로 추진된 예술치유프로그램지원사업 기획 운영, 어르신문화프로그램 전시기획 등 다양한 문화정책사업을 기획 운영하였고, 평창문화올림픽 성과분석 연구, 전통문화산업 지원정책 효율화 연구 등 주로 문화정책연구를 수행하고 있다. 현재, 문화체육관광부 문화정책관 심의위원, 한국문화관광연구원 전문위원, 서울 은평문화재단 이사, 한국문화경제학회 부회장, 한국지역문화학회 학술위원장으로 활동 중이다. 저서로는 기억력을 지켜주는 컬러링북 3권(학고재, 2018 공저 )과 문화정책론(박영사, 2023 공저)이 있다.

It is fun and rewarding for me to share the rich experience and academic knowledge accumulated in the cultural industry and cultural policy field. In particular, I am very interested in spreading the social value of culture and arts and local culture. I studied art education in undergraduate school and cultural planning and cultural arts management in graduate school. I received a doctorate in culture and arts from Chugye University for the Arts. I have extensive field experience in the overall publishing culture industry, from Doosan Group Publishing BG. I was in charge of publishing planning, marketing, and sales. I planned and operated cultural policy projects such as the art healing program support project promoted as an inter-ministerial cooperation project of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and exhibition planning for senior cultural programs. I have written <Coloring Books to Protect Your Memory> (Hakgojae, 2018) and <Cultural Policy Theory> (Parkyoungsa, 2023).

중앙대학교에서 무용학(현대무용)을 전공하였고, 동대학원에서 스포츠산업경영(무용산업경영) 전공으로 석박사학위를 받았다. 이후 상명대학교 글로벌문화예술교육연구소에 연구교수로 재직하며 생애주기 문화예술교육 관련 연구, 무용경영과 산업에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 현재, 가톨릭대학교 공연예술문화학과 교육전담교수이며 무용분야 학회 이사 및 학술지 편집위원과 심사위원으로 활동하고 하고 있다. 

Kim EunHye majored in Dance (Modern Dance) at Chung-Ang University, where she also received her Master's and Doctoral degrees in Sports Industry Management, specializing in Dance Industry Management. Following her graduation, she served as a Research Professor at Sungmyung University's Global Culture & Arts Education Research Institute, conducting research in the areas of dance management, dance industry, dance policy, and lifelong cultural and arts education. Currently, she holds the position of Teaching Assistant Professor in the Department of Performing Arts and Culture at the Catholic University of Korea. In this role, she contributes as an editorial board member and reviewer for academic journals in the field of dance.
